Water Chemistry - In my years of experience, the majority of problems with the spas are the results of unbalanced water chemistry. The spa water needs to be checked daily with a good test kit. The reason for this is you are dealing with HOT water and a small amount of water. Unbalanced water chemistry can also cause the seals, gaskets, and heating elements to be the first part to go out.

Draining Portable Spas - Spas need to be completely drained every 3 to 4 months. Body oils and soaps accumulate in the water which after awhile causes a film in the water.

Filter cleaning - Filters need to be cleaned every month. This needs to be done to control waste buildup and prevent water flow from being restricted.
